Suppose you have just participated in a school project of collecting used books on campus. As the organizer of the project, I am writing this report to tell you what has been done about the book collecting project. The details will be listed in the following.

To start with, in response to the university's advocation of thrift（节俭） habit, the Students’ Union held a project of second-hand book collection at 3 p.m. last Friday. The purpose of the activity was to collect and clean the used books and give them to the newcomers who need them. Secondly, I have to say that all the members of our union are warm-hearted and responsible. They not only took part in the project punctually, but also called on their friends to join in it. We have collected more than 500 books, most of which are preserved in good condition.
